Verbs with infinitives ending in -ять
Russian grammar --> Verbs with infinitives in -ять
Russian verbs ending in -ять have two conjugation patterns in the non-past. Most verbs ending in -ять keep the -я- throughout the conjugation. Thus, verbs of this type will have the following pattern:

Non-past forms of the verb гулять to walk

Some verbs of this group drop the -я-. Below, you can see a conjugation pattern of such verbs:
